Rules

1. No god-modding. Do NOT force other characters into action without their approval. If in doubt, ask. If someone godmods against you, please respectfully let them know. If you accidentally godmod against someone, please respect the player and make the change. If the problem continues, please notify a mod.

2. The game is set in real time. One day equals one day in game. Overlap (simultaneous events) and backdating (journal entries or scenes that happened 'earlier' in game-time) are both permissible. Backstory scenes not required but always welcome!

3. Players are required to post at least once a week, either with a substantial journal entry or a thread. Proper threads are required at least once in a two week period.

4. The game is about long term plot and quality character and relationship development. If you are looking for a short fluffy game, this is not it.

5. When creating a character, please know that the Mods encourage realistic and flawed characters. No Mary Su/Gary Stus allowed.

6. Please do not change any canon or otherwise pre-established information about your character without checking it with the mods first. Development over the course of the game is natural; sudden changes are not.

7. Check and edit your posts for grammatical errors. An occasional typo is fine. Net speak is not.

8. Out-of-character comments, questions and plotting belong in hiddenisolation under f-lock or through email.

9. Respect your fellow players. Remember, we’re all in this together. Complaints about players or the game must be addressed by email and should not be aired publicly. If there is a problem, it will be handled by the mods. Please no OOC drama!

10. The maximum is three characters. If you are new to the game, you must wait three weeks after joining the game before applying for a second character.

11. NO UNREALISTIC PBS!! TV/movie actors and musicians are allowed, the less famous the better. Models are prohibited.
